Course Overview

Ever swapped dollars for euros before a holiday? Then you have already traded forex — probably at a terrible rate. This course starts right there, at the airport counter, and walks you, one short video at a time, to your first chart and your first practice trade.

You'll learn what the world's biggest market actually is, why currencies always come in pairs, what makes their prices move, and who is on the other side of every trade — from central banks to you. Then the tools of the trade: when the market is open, how moves are counted in pips, what a lot is and what a pip is worth to you, the spread you pay to get in, the swap for staying overnight, and leverage and margin, the most powerful tool in forex and the most dangerous. Finally: going long and short, the order types, stop loss and take profit, reading a candlestick, and a first demo trade sized so small it cannot hurt.

Twelve videos of two to three minutes, a five-question quiz after each, one small task per chapter, and a certificate at the end. When you finish, the nine Beginner courses that follow take you further, from reading charts to building your own trading plan.
